Bad Poetry #4

Considering I’m married to an Australian, this has to be the best bad poem ever. And I’ve been Googling “bad poems” for hours.

A Beautiful Little Furry Rabbit

How beautifully innocent the cute little bunny,
Hopping around the green, happy fields for fun.
Hopping around, scratching holes, making love,
Eating and laying around in the sun.

How ghastly the horrible little Aussie rabbit is,
Hopping around the vast land just for fun.
Hopping around causing massive irreversible erosion,
Eaten by a farmer with a gun.

Anne Clendening was born and raised in L.A. She's a yoga teacher, a writer and occasionally slings cocktails in a Hollywood bar. She could eat chocolate cake for every meal of the day. She has a huge fear of heights and flying. And fire. She wishes she could speak French, play her guitar better and make cannoli. She's probably listening to The Dark Side Of The Moon right now, kickin’ it with her boxer dog and her hot Australian husband ★
